Refund & Exchange Policy

At Lekarasa, each piece is thoughtfully crafted in limited quantities. Because of this, all sales are final. However, in the rare event that you receive a defective or incorrect item, we will do our best to resolve it responsibly. 

1. All Sales Are Final

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Wrong size ordered

  • Colour differences due to screen or lighting

  • Items damaged due to wear, improper care, or washing

Please review size guides and product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

2. Defective or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel.

Provide:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos/videos of the issue

  • (Optional) Unboxing video for smoother verification

After assessment, we will offer:

  • A replacement of the same item (if available), or

  • Store credit if the item is sold out, or

  • A refund only when a replacement or store credit is not possible

Items must remain unused, unwashed, unaltered, and with all original tags intact.

3. What Counts as a Defect

We consider the following as defects:

  • Visible stains or marks upon arrival

  • Major stitching issues

  • Torn or damaged fabric

  • Missing or faulty embroidery

  • Incorrect design, size, or colour sent

Please note:
Slight variations in hand embroidery and batik (including minor asymmetry or thread differences) are normal characteristics of handcrafted pieces, not defects.

4. Return Shipping

  • If the defect is confirmed, Lekarasa will cover the return shipping cost.

  • If the item is found not defective, the customer will bear the cost, and the item will be returned to you.

5. Items Not Eligible

Due to hygiene and quality control, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Worn, washed, altered, or stained items

  • Items without packaging and original tags

  • Sale or promotional items

  • Custom-sized or made-to-measure pieces

6. Processing Timeline

Once we receive the returned item, please allow 3–5 working days for quality inspection.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed via the original payment method or store credit.

7. Care Disclaimer

Each Lekarasa piece is made using delicate materials such as embroidery, chiffon, voile, and hand-finished details. To preserve the beauty and longevity of your garment:

  • Hand wash only

  • Do not soak

  • Avoid mixing with items that may bleed colour

  • Air dry in shade

  • Do not tumble dry

  • Steam gently on low heat

  • Store flat or hung to maintain shape

  • Handle embroidery with care to avoid pulling or snagging

These care steps ensure your kebaya remains in its best condition for years.
